Friendship Tournament

In April 2025, Okinawa Goju-ryu Karate QLD proudly held its very first in-house tournament – the Friendship Tournament. This exciting event brought together all students from the Tiny Tigers and General classes, ranging from white belt to purple belt, to participate in a kata competition.

The tournament was a resounding success, with every child putting in their best effort and demonstrating their skills with confidence and pride. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to showcase what they’ve learned in front of their peers and proud families.

Trophies were awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each division, but the biggest win of the day was the spirit of friendship and fun that filled the dojo.
